About us

St Columba’s Hospice Care is a place where people with life limiting illnesses and their families can receive warm and compassionate care from experts in our world class inpatient unit, in their homes and in other care settings.

We provide patients and their loved ones with the services they need in the place of their choosing. Our dedicated staff and volunteers work to ensure that their needs are met - from referral to therapies, help with pain management, and some of the practical things that support vulnerable patients and their families.

As an independent charity, we could not provide these vital services without the support of our amazing community of fundraisers and supporters. Our services are provided completely free of charge to all patients and their families. You make it all possible.

The funds you raise could pay for a nursing specialist to help a patient manage their condition at home or provide therapy to help a patient with breathlessness. You could help us support a family through bereavement counselling or help us train care workers in our community.
