Castle to Castle: A Ridiculous Quest and questionable life choice

My Story

Edinburgh Castle → Glamis Castle
("How far?" — Me, immediately regretting my life choices)

This year, I’ve signed myself up for the Rat Race Castle to Castle challenge: running from Edinburgh Castle all the way to Glamis Castle a 100 mile run! (its only 3.8 marathons back to back) powered by determination, questionable fitness levels, and an alarming amount of snacks and delusions of self confidence

Why?
Because I’m raising money for St Columba’s Hospice Care, an incredible charity that supports people and their Familes living with life‑limiting illnesses—and because apparently no one stopped me when I said, “Yeah, that sounds fun!”

St Columba’s provides compassionate care to patients and families when they need it most. They do life‑changing work every single day, and if running/crawling/swearing my way across Scotland helps support that, then count me in. Carrying industrial amounts of vaseline and kendal mint cake I will battle the stunning route and may even hallunicate without the use of narcotics (that could be interesting)

So please consider donating—even a little makes a huge difference and with the cost raising any money will help! It really is a ife line to so many people!

And remember: the more you give, the faster I’ll pretend to run.

Thanks so much for your support… and wish my legs good luck. They’ll need it.
